Franky Zapata, a water sports enthusiast in Marseille, France, ties the belt of the device to his feet and attaches a powerful sprinkler to enable the user to take off. The user can hold the nozzle to play a role in flight stability. This aquatic device is called a "flyboard". Its mechanical principle is to pump seawater through a huge pipe attached to the jet ski, and then spray water through the pipe. The power control of the flyboard is realized by the control personnel on the jet ski. It requires at least 10 horsepower to start the flyboard. Once the device is skillfully operated, it can jump up to 10 meters on the water, and Zapata can even perform the water back somersault in the demonstration.
