The original surfboard is about 5 meters long and weighs 50 ~ 60 kg. After the Second World War, foamed plastic board appeared, and the shape of the board was also improved. The current surfboard is 1.5 ~ 2.7m long, about 60cm wide and 7 ~ 10cm thick. It is light and flat, slightly narrow at the front and rear ends, and has a stabilizing tail fin at the lower rear. In order to increase friction, a waxy outer film is also coated on the plate surface. The weight of all surfboards is only 11 ~ 26kg.
